"Copper" "Copper" is a "Kin Matsuba". In Japanese, "Kin" means "gold" and "Matsuba" means "pine" or "pine cone". "Matsuba" refers to the scales that have a black, or dark, center with a light edgein this case orange. These scales form a pattern reminiscent of the scales on a pine cone. "Copper" got his name from his coppery-orange color.
